Select the Split Pipe Run option from the Piping taskbar. (It is also part of the main toolbox.)
Use the mouse to pick the point on the run where the split is to occur.
Left-click themouse to accept the point.
The Split Run dialog opens listing the two runs. OpenPlant PID will create a unique name for the second run but all other properties will remain the same.
To modify one of the runs, select it and click OK.
The Pipe Run Properties dialog displays allowing you to edit the run's properties if necessary.
Click OK when finished editing the run properties.
You can make changes to either run using the Element Info dialog.
